A Letter From Dan Hall

O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever. O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever. To him who alone doeth great wonders: for his mercy endureth for ever. (Psalm 136:1-4)

Dear Brother Jim,

I am writing you to say thank you, on behalf of all of our mission family and myself personally for the gift that you sent to our office in Shreveport designated for the Villa construction project. I hope we will be able to use a part of this building in the near future. It will be a great help for visitors, especially during conference times and group visits.

As you know the long term vision is to house our elderly staff members when they need smaller quarters and help for their day to day living. So far, we have finished the outer shell of the two stories. Now we are doing finish work on the bottom level and some necessary finish work upstairs on the outside that will help protect the building roof.

If it were not for your gift, this work would have been interrupted for lack of materials. So it is good the brick masons working with our students have been able to stay on the job non-stop. Praise the Lord. Presently we have poured all the concrete slabs on the bottom apartment floors, these will later be tiled. Also we have finished the stucco on the walls and ceilings inside of all the bottom apartments. We have built the stairway up to the second floor and have finished with a concrete platform up on the roof level that will hold our water tanks, (the black water holding tanks you see on top of the houses down here). We are thankful for God's provision through you to do these things.

Things here at the mission are going well, we have a good group of students, the staff is working hard, and we can see the Lord's blessing in many different areas of ministry.

Mark Webb and his group will be here next week so we will be talking about you…and the conferences for next December. I am sure he will be in touch.Chuy and the boys are all doing well, we have had the blessing of having my parents here for a 3 week visit, and so that is also an added cause of thanksgiving. The Lord is merciful.

Give your wife our love, and I pray that God's grace will abound upon you and yours.

Your brother in the love of Christ,
Dan Hall
